Is is normal for a 2.5 year old to eat an entire one of these?
Or 10 of these and ask for more?
Now, I don't normally have a freezer full of this stuff but we had a sitter on Friday and her mom is my teammate at school. I have heard from her momma that we have no "good food" at our house. So I did stop at the store and pick up some teenage friendly junk food for her. I put the pizza in the oven for them to share before we left. When we got home she informed us that he ATE THE WHOLE THING himself. ohmy. The next day for lunch he asked for the "little pizzas". So I made him 5 pizza rolls. He quickly ate them all and then asked for more. I made 5 more. He ate them all and asked for more again! I told him they were all gone. This kid can eat!! He does eat healthy things too, not just junk-promise. The child cried for strawberries at SAMS Club yesterday, but I really did not think we needed an entire vat of berries- maybe I was wrong. We have been home from school for about an hour and he has had a yogurt, some fruit snacks, a slice of cheese and asked for more. ahhhh. I did give him some water and told him we would eat dinner soon.
I am wondering if he is going through a growth spurt or something. If he eats this much at two, how will I be able to afford to feed him when he is 16!!
Just wondering- IS THIS NORMAL?

ReplyDeleteHow funny!!! he is a growing boy!!! my little fellow eats alot some days and hardly nothing the next!! Cute pic!
ReplyDeleteMY 5 year old has been going through the same thing lately. He eats and eats and eats and I noticed he went up a size in pants, so we have def cut back. I think it is normal every few years. I hope they grow out of it, or like you, I will go broke :)
ReplyDeleteCaleb eats from the time he gets home until he goes to bed. I have never tried pizza rolls with him. Good idea!
ReplyDeleteAbby, I just checked out RagsLand! This could be a problem, everything is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower. Thanks for checking out my blog.
How funny!! He sounds like me when I get home from school!
ReplyDeleteI think Brennan is going to be the same way. He is not quite 1 yet and last night for dinner he ate mandarin oranges, peas, an entire hotdog, and a whole stick of string cheese.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure both C and B are going through growth spurts. I hope B continues to be like C and sleeps in late and potty trains easily!
