We are still here...

Just so you know, we are still here! The babies were born on Tuesday 9/13 at 35 weeks and 2 days. We got to bring them home on Friday 9/16 and we have been trying our best to figure it all out since then. We have been to the doctor 2 times in the last 3 days for weight checks and billi rubin checks and all is going well. I am nursing both and they are gaining so I am going to continue to try. They are the sweetest things and I could just snuggle them all day. Big brother is adjusting well to having 2 babies as well as any 3 year old with two new babies could and my mom has been here since the delivery. She is a HUGE help and I am so thankful for her. Because of her our bellies are full, clothes are clean, dishes are put away, fall decorations are out, carpets are vacuumed. I could go on and on. She is amazing and had made this adjustment as easy as it could be for us. I have been able to focus on feeding babies, and doing all I can to make them grow. I will get back to blogging soon. I have so many stories to share but until then here are some pictures from our first few days in the hospital and at home.

3 reasons my heart is SO FULL.

Could they be any sweeter?

One proud papa!

Clark and his baby sister.

Barney is also a protective Big Brother! :)
He LOVES the babies too.

My mom and dad might be in love too!

This makes me laugh!
My dad and Stuart on baby duty during the UK/UL football game!

Clark has done GREAT. He is the paci replacer, cradle rocker, and diaper getter.

Sweet Shepard after his bath.

Sara Kate looking ever so cute after her bath too!

Me and my loves at their 1st doctor's appointment.

I hope that you all are having a great week. We are taking it one day at a time and I am trying to soak it all in as we learn how to take care of these sweet babies. Our hearts are so full. SO FULL.
